A member of Monywa District Administration Council, Sagaing Region named Than Zaw Tun was shot in the head yesterday (June 19).
The victim was shot in Monywa’s Chanmyawaddy Ward while he was going to his office, according to a source who has a close relationship with the victim.
He was appointed as a member of the Monywa District Administration Council recently.
“He runs his own business. Actually, he became a member of the district administration council very recently. We are very sorry for his death. He has a daughter and a son. Now his family members are very afraid,” the source said.
