NP News - July 5
Wrongful deeds masked under democracy shouldn’t be done on the road to multi-party democracy, said Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing when he visited Pathein Military Station of South-West Command on July 4 and met with the servicemen.

Tatmadaw plays a leading role in national politics as the ‘Guardian of the State’ in accord with the Constitution. Politicians should develop themselves with political maturity and cohesion, he added.

Only the Tatmadaw is such a strong institution that can control the current situation of the country, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing explaining that authorities are making efforts for restoring the country to normal condition by residing national objectives and political objectives.

Tranquility in aspects of politics or security measures plays important for the country’s development so as to terminate the armed conflicts. Only then, will the nation be developed, he said.
