Armed terrorists in Sarlingyi Township from Sagaing Region set fire to the office of the sub-commission of the Union Election on July 13 at an estimated 5:55 am, according to statement released by the State Administration Council.
The office is located in No. 2 Ward, Sarlingyi Township in Sagaing Region.
The fire was killed at an estimated 6:10 am by the local fire department, according to the statement.
Polling station properties, doors, and furniture were reportedly ablaze with gasoline after the terrorists intruded into the office compound, the statement said.
