International statements on Myanmar’s judicial execution indirectly encourage terrorism -Foreign Ministry

International communities’ criticisms on Myanmar government’s judicial execution is interfering the country’s internal affairs and indirectly abetting the terrorism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in the press statement released yesterday (July 26) regarding on the government’s legal sanction of imposing death penalty on four.
“The Ministry cautions that such concerns and criticisms on the Myanmar government's legal actions could be tantamount to interfering the internal affairs of the country and indirectly abetting terrorism,” as expressed in the MOFA statement saying, “Therefore, the Ministry strongly protests and rejects such one-sided statements that neglect the deaths of numerous innocent lives and injuries as well as destruction of education, health and economic infrastructures.”
The statement says, “….with respect to the verdicts of four convicts who were given death sentences in accordance with the Penal Code and the Counter-Terrorism Law of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar as they were found to be guilty of masterminding, arranging and committing brutal and inhumane terror acts and murders which have resulted in the deaths of many innocent civilians.”
Phyo Zayyar Thaw was charged under Section 49 of Counter Terrorism Law for an estimated 200 different weapons, 6,000 different bullets, 40 different nuts and various mines and bombs were seized from him. The weapons were kept in different four places across the Yangon city.
Again, Phyo Zeyar Thaw sponsored the terrorists to commit terror attacks; and he was found acting as an accomplice in many crimes including - more than 80 times of exploding many state-owned buildings and government offices, an estimated 60 times of exploding and destroying public sites, and exploding and blowing up the religious buildings twice, schools three-times, and many other places; so he was charged under Section 50 (i) of the Penal Code. Under Section 50 (j) of the Penal Code, Phyo Zayyar Thaw sponsored the terrorists with financial support.
Jimmy was charged under Section 49 (a), 50 (i), and 50 (j) of the Penal Code; and was sentenced to capital punishment by hanging.
Hla Myo Aung and Aung Thura Zaw - involve in this time sentence of death by hanging for committing the murder by gang violence against a female teacher named Win Thandar Swe on March 15, 2021 in Hlaingtharyar Township, Yangon. The grouped lawbreakers interrogated and tortured the female victim (Win Thandar Swe) alleged as 'Informer/Dalan (traitor)', and captived the victim in the house by locking from outside.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs argued that the provisions of international counter-terrorism laws and agreements reject and condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations under any circumstances and situations, and also state to take effective legal actions against those who committed terrorist activities.
