Arakan Army abducts three Daingnet men; family expects their return in good condition

United League of Arakan/ Arakan Army (ULA/AA) abducted three men of Diangnet tribes on August 12 afternoon and the family of the abductees have concerns and hope to come back in good condition, the family told NP News.
Diangnet is one of the tribes of the Rakhine ethnic in Myanmar. Three Diangnet men are Thar Hla Tun, Hla Maung and Thinkhar Kyaw.
All three abductees are just average people doing business with trading, one of the family members said.
“Three of them are traders. They do not have a connection with any group or organization. We don’t know why the AA arrested them. The AA did not say any reason. Now, we are very worried about them. We request the AA to release them safely with no harm,” a family member said.
There were incidents that the AA is used to abduct the officials of the Rakhine State government frequently and released them.
The families of three Diangnet abductees are expecting their return in good condition.
