Second peace talk between government and EAOs finishes

The second time peace talk between the government and delegations of Pa-O National Liberation Organization (PNLO), Arakan Liberation Party (ALP), and Lahu Democratic Union (LDU) has been finished after four-day discussions.

Agreements were made, State Administration Council announced; however, details of agreements were not released.

The peace talk was held from August 22 to 26 in Naypyidaw.

The government’s peace delegation team and three ethnic armed forces exchanged opinions and discussed demands related to Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 of the Constitution.

Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing invited the ethnic armed forces for peace on April 22, 2022 regarding the year 2022 as the peace year of the nation.
