Tower station in Moe Bye sabotaged; Lawpita-Tigyit National Grid breakdown

A power transmission station located in Pekon township in Southern Shan State was blown up by terrorists taking base in Kayah territory, State Administration Council released information.
The incident occurred on September 6 at an estimated 8:45 pm in Moe Bye village located in Pekon.
No. 130 tower line was damaged in the attack. 132 KV Lawpita-Tigyit National Grid (Loikaw) transmission line was broken down, the SAC’s Information Team said.
Authorities did not state any organization to be responsible for the attack yet.
However, local terror rebel groups Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP) and Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) are moving along that surrounding happened this destructive attack currently.
