Myanmar to open consulate, business center in Vladivostok ASAP

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar will carry out to open Myanmar Consulate and a business center as soon as possible in Vladivostok, Russia where the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) has been convened from September 5 to 8.
Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the Governor of Primorsky territory Mr. Oleg Nikolaeich Kozhemyako at Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok yesterday (September 8).
Myanmar’s high delegation discussed bilateral cooperation in commercial activities and promoting export/import with Primorsky territory of Russia, SAC announced.
The Primorsky Governor had reportedly agreed on opening Myanmar Consulate and a business center in their territory.
The high delegation of Myanmar led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the 7th EEF that was held in Russia. The two nations discussed and made agreements in cooperation in many sectors.
Myanmar and Russia signed a roadmap for cooperation on the peaceful use of atomic energy at the forum.
