Shooting against Buddhist followers occurs on full moon day in Mandalay

A group of lay Buddhist people who were waiting for the monks to follow precepts on the Full Moon Day of Tawtalin (which falls in September) was attacked by gun violence by terrorists killing one and injuring one, Myanmar Police Forces announced.
The incident occurred yesterday (September 9, Full Moon Day of Tawtalin) in Amarapura township, Mandalay while the residential people were waiting for the monks at the village’s community hall for religious purposes at an estimated 8:30 am.
Two terrorists came to the hall and committed the terror gun shooting. Due to the attack, a sixty-two years old man Tin Ohn was shot dead on the spot, and a fifty years old woman Moe Moe got injured in the arm, the police said.
Myanmar Police Forces seized eight gun shells of THAI ARMS 9 MM at the scene.
