Officer from Prison Department abducted in Monywa

A local insurgent group based in Monywa, Sagaing Region known as Chindwin Attack Force abducted an officer from the Prison Department of Monywa District.
The Prison Department is governed by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Chindwin Attack Force announced that engineer Myo Nyunt Aung was abducted on September 9 in Tharzi village, Monywa tonwhsip. Identification No. of the abductee is reportedly known as 3386 with 27 years of working experience in the engineering division of the prison department.
The NP News contacted the Prison Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the case. However, no detailed reply has been made by the prison department.
