Two killed in Pakkoku flood after heavy rain

Four were taken by the flood; two died in Pakkoku flood after rising the water level in streams in the aftermath of the torrential rain, according to the Fire Services Department.
Sinpaukhla stream increased in water level as a result of heavy rain on October 8 at an estimated 3:30 am in Pakkoku.
Two men and two women were taken by the flood; the rescue team from Pakkoku District Fire Services Department saved one man and one woman out of four who were floated by the flood. The rest two died, the fire services department said.
