Yangon-Phuket direct route commenced by MAI; flies two days a week

The Myanmar Airways International (MAI) is operating Yangon–Phuket direct route two days a week.
As a part of the MAI’s plan to increase the regional connection by encouraging the tourism, the direct route between Yangon and Phuket is extended as the second flight route between Myanmar and Thailand.
Flight schedules have commenced the services starting from 9th October.
“Yangon-Phuket direct route will run on every Sunday and Thursday. It runs two days a week.” MAI announced.
Moreover, the MAI is planning to operate Yangon-Moscow direct cargo flights and passenger flights in coming soon.
There are approximately 47,000 Myanmar migrant workers in Phuket. This direct route will make a convenience to their way back home for those migrant workers working in Phuket.
