Steel framed bridge between villages sabotaged in Tanintharyi

Terrorists blew up a local bridge made of steel frame structures which is connected villages on 22nd October in Palaw township, Tanintharyi Region, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.

When authorities reported by a resident an explosion, an investigation was made. Found that the bridge (12’ width and 420’ length) located 12,000 meters south in Palaw was exploded by the terrorists. The bridge connects Madaung village and Pitat village, according to the SAC statement.

At present, authorities are conducting the repairing works on the bridge. Only motorbikes, no cars, can pass through the bridge.
