Myanmar exports 160 thousand tons of rice and broken rice in October

A total of 42 local companies exported 163,188.7 metric ton of rice and broken rice worth of 65 million dollars in October 2022, according the statistics released by the MRF (Myanmar Rice Federation) Rice Portal.
In fact, there were 136,205.7 metric tons of rice and 26,983 metric tons of broken rice in the exports. Amongst, 121,699.7 metric tons of rice and broken #rice_exported by seaway and 41,489 metric tons by cargo through border line.
“Exportation in the agricultural sector didn’t decline in recent months,” Union Minister Tin Htut Oo of the Ministry of Livestock and Irrigation said.
#Myanmar exported rice mainly to China and other 22 others including Bangladesh, Italy, Romania and Spain while exported broken rice to Belgium, Poland, Netherland and Lithuania.
Myanmar exported over 1 million tons of rice and broken rice within seven months from April to October 2022 which generated 404 million dollar incomes.
