The former Immigration Minister-cum-chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (#USDP) #Khin_Yi underlined that one whose #citizenship status has been annulled won’t return to be a citizen ever.

He addressed this information at the party conference that was held at the USDP new office in Tatkone township, Naypyidaw on November 2.

Citizenship statuses of those who mastermind plots behind the scene that the terrorist PDFs committed #violence_and_terror_acts were revoked and canceled.

“Those #PDFs who are doing terror plots here are all at our children’s ages. And those who are masterminding behind them (PDFs) all aren’t Myanmar citizens anymore. All of their citizenship statuses were annulled when I was the Immigration Minister for the second time,” the USDP chair, Khin Yi said.

Khin Yi was the Immigration Minister two times and the Chief of Police.

“Myanmar Citizenship will never return after has been once revoked. In the period of President Thein Sein's administration, he granted citizenship statuses to those who were exiled only for national reconciliation. Now, those who are ordering behind the scene are all non-Myanmar citizens. Those all insurgents are foreigners,” he said.

As a matter of fact, there were many exiled persons who were re-allowed to enter Myanmar and were granted Myanmar citizenship status once again in then-president Thien Sein's administration. Exiled media were also allowed running in domestic legally under his presidency. That was the emblem of national reconciliation the former president Thein Sein tried.

The State Administration Council (SAC) announced the annulation of the citizenships of 11 terrorist leaders currently residing in abroad including Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Min Ko Naing and Yee Mon on 4th March 2022.

On March 7, other five people including celebrities were revoked Myanmar citizenship again.
