Government officials killed in repairing sabotaged towers by terrorists

The #Ministry_of_Electric_Power released an announcement that the government staffs were killed by #terrorists when repairing the towers that were blown up and destroyed by the terrorists.
The ministry is continuously carrying out the fixing processes of more than 40 towers that were exploded and destroyed by the terrorists.
Civil servants were attacked very frequently or many times while they were serving their duties of fixing the damaged towers. Some were died whereas some were injured at serious conditions, the ministry disclosed information on 5th November.
#Electricity is delivered and transmitted via National Grids and other regional grids by the ministry at present. Amongst, two towers from 132 KV Balu Chaung No. 2 – Tigyit Double Power Grid from #Balu_Chaung_Hydroelectric-Power_Plants were exploded with mines by the #terrorists on 3rd November at an estimated 8 pm, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.
The abovementioned sabotage made decreasing 70 MW of electricity that is transmitted to the public.
Electric towers were frequently exploded and destroyed by the terrorists since 2021.
Five towers from 230 KV Balu Chaung 2 – Shwe Myo #National_Grid were destroyed six-times; six towers from 230 KV Balu Chaung 2 – Taungoo National Grid were destroyed four-times; a total of 21 towers from 132 KV Balu Chaung 2 – Tigyit Double Power Grid were destroyed seven-times respectively by the terrorists. The ministry fixed and repaired the damaged towers together with the #Tamadaw for many times.
