Senior General addressed this on 5th November when he met with investors and entrepreneurs from Myeik District, Tanintharyi Region.
International trade and economy were largely impacted by the political crisis in Myanmar which mainly contaminated the public’s well-beings.
“Domestic production wasn’t encouraged by the previous two successive civilian government terms. Instead, foreign aid, loans and earnings from non-trade sectors were mainly used,” Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said.
The current State Administration Council focuses on exports especially from agricultural products in order to uplift the country’s economy amid of sanctions and political conflicts.
