Ongoing peace talk’s third round started with Mon group

The #peace_talk that was invited by the Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) started its third round with #New_Mon_State_Party (NMSP) and discussed on #2008_Constitution.

The NMSP peace delegation led by its vice chairman Naing Aung Min and the delegation led by Lieutenant General Yar Pyae met on November 9 in Naypyidaw, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.

Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing invited the EAO leaders for peace in 2022 April. The NMSP representatives first-time met with the SAC delegation in May; and the second time in October.

The two groups discussed bilateral debates and agreements with regard to Schedule 1 (Union Legislative List, Schedule 2 (Region or State Legislative List) of the 2008 Constitution; and Part I, II, and III of the Union Accord.

The third-time peace talk between NMSP and SAC delegations continued on 10th November.
