The Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Senior General #Min_Aung_Hlaing anticipates that an effective covenant could be developed in the upcoming December with the #EAOs as discussions went well to a certain extent.

He disclosed this abovementioned expectation during the meeting held in Naypyidaw on 11th November.

At present, the SAC #peace delegation is conducting third-round peace talks with the EAO delegation. There are ten EAOs who attend and join the peace talk invited by Senior General on 22 April 2022.

“All EAOs that came and joined the peace talk are willing to continue formulating the peace through the dialogue course,” Senior General said.

Currently, Tatmadaw unilaterally ceases firing on one hand; and engaging in the compromise based on the provisos prescribed in the #2008_Constitution and the #Nationwide_Ceasefire_Agreement with the EAOs on the other hand.

RCSS, ALP, LDU, PNLO, UWSA, NDAA, SSPP, KNU/KNLA-PC, DKBA and NMSP join the peace talk.

However, three other groups including Kayin KNU, Kachin KIA and Rakhine AA are exchanging fire with the Defense Services. Worst of all, the KNU and KIA support the terrorist PDFs in either finances or weapons.
