Crossfire occurs while Tatmadaw conducted mine clearance in school compound in Momauk

Tatmadaw’s counter-terrorism forces conducted detection, removal and destruction of #landmines planted by the #terrorist #PDFs in a high school compound in Momauk, #Kachin State on the morning of 11 November, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.
Many remote mines were excavated and defused.
While the counter-terrorism forces carried out the mine clearance, the terrorist PDFs launched an attack by covering the school buildings and civilian houses nearby the school.
Fire exchange occurred between both sides, according to the statement.
A few minutes later, the terrorists withdrew heading to the north-east and west of the school. Terrorists torched and destroyed civilian houses along the way they retreated.
