Thanlyin Bridge’s part 3 construction finished its 92 percent

It is reported that part 3 construction of No. 3 #Thanlyin_Bridge which is crossing over the Bago River has finished 92 percent of the process. Part 3 is the primary stage of construction of the No. 3 Bridge.
#Yangon Region Chief Minister Soe Thein visited the construction site on November 9.
No. 3 Thanlyin bridge project that is crossing over the Bago River was started in 2019 June with loans from Japan. Signs of Progress were suspended, then, during the Covid-19 pandemic period.
The construction was resumed in February 2021 by dividing it into three parts. Part 3 is the first stage of the construction of the project.
“Commodity flow and socioeconomic of the local residents will be better. Traffic problems will also be reduced,” said Chief Minister continuing that better transportation channels will also emerge between the Yangon- #Thanlyin_Thilawa_Special_Economic_Zone, which plays key transportation for commodity flow.
The No. 3 Thanlyin Bridge stands beside the No. 1 Yangon-Thanlyin Bridge with a length of main span 1928 meters and a width of 14 meters. There are four lanes. It has 547 meters long on the side of the approach span to Thaketa township and 188 meters to Thanlyin township. The bearing capacity of the bridge is 75 tons.
