Authorities liberalize 11 celebs from 505 (a)

Legal prosecutions against eleven local celebrities under #Section_505 (a) of the Penal Code had been relaxed this morning on 102th National Day falling on 17 November, the #State_Administration_Council announced.
Hpone Thike (actor/director), Phway Phway (actress), Hayman Thu Thu Aung (Model), Mal Min Pon (Director), Su Mon (Presenter), Ni Ni Khin Zaw (Singer), Thiha Phyo (cast), Thazin Htoo Myin (cast), Htet Htet Tun (Model), Nang Khin Zeya (former miss) and Yun Wadi Lwin Moe (actress) were involved.
“We prioritize the state building. We have guaranteed to build the multi-parties democratic Union based on democracy and federal values. The State usually grants #amnesty on the country’s special days,” Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun said.
A total of more than 6000 prisoners were released in the amnesty honoring of 102th National Day.
