Myanmar esteems Lancang-Mekong Cooperation: Spokesperson said

The Spokesperson of the State Administration Council Major General Zaw Min Tun said, “#Myanmar deeply respects the #Lancang_Mekong relations. Again, we regard a thorough consideration of the projects carried out under the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation.”
He underlined the information during the press conference held today in Naypyidaw.
The Mekong region countries call it #Mekong_Lancang Cooperation while the PRC calls it Lancang-Mekong Cooperation. However, the member countries do not have any dispute over it; in fact, unity has been born among them, according to Major General Zaw Min Tun addressing that ‘It is one of the advantages between the member countries.”
He added, “It is a pragmatic intergovernmental body. Especially, there are practically executing projects in the Mekong-Lancang region conducted under the development plans of #China. Myanmar involves too. What is more, Myanmar is carrying out the projects as parts of China’s #One_Belt_One_Road plan.”
