Chaung Tha, Ngwe Saung receive over 150,000 visitors each this year

Within ten months period in 2022, number of foreign and local visitors to #Ngwe Saung and #Chaung Tha beaches escalated with 150,000 number each, according to the Union Minister of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.
Dr. Htay Aung, the union minister, addressed it during the meeting held at AZURA Hotel on Chaung Tha Beach on 20 November.
Visitor numbers at the Ngwe Saung beach starting from January 2022 to October 2022 is 210,000 visitors from both domestic and foreign while it was only 41500 in last year.
Therefore, in comparison to last year’s visit, the total number of 168,500 visitors has increased.
Likewise, the number of visitors to Chaung Tha Beach during the period of January to October is more than 258,000 while it was 66000 last year.
