An ex-serviceman shot in Yangon’s Thuwanna

An ex-serviceman namely Zaw Naing Win who retired from the military at his Colonel rank was shot by a #terrorist in Yangon Region’s Thuwanna located in Thingangyun township this morning, reports say.
The incident happened on 24 November at an estimated 8 am while the former Colonel was watering plants in front of his home, the gunman who came on foot shot down him.
NP News’ source confirms the case: “Yes, an ex-Colonel of the military was shot down by a terrorist in Thuwanna’s 23rd Ward, between Kankawmyaing street and Ingyinmyaing street.”
The victim is reportedly now in the critical condition at the Military Hospital, the source continued.
