154 Bengali salvaged by Myanmar to be sent back to relevant country

The State Administration Council (SAC) released the statement on December 9 that 154 Bengali aliens who were saved by Myanmar in southwest sea of the country will be sent back to their native country after interrogations and examinations have been done by the Immigration Ministry.
154 #boat_people of #Bengalis who were almost drowned and sunk in the sea territory between Myanmar and Thailand were rescued and saved by Myanmar vessels and #Myanmar_Navy_Forces on humanity basic on December 7 in the morning in 150 water miles away from Myeik.
The SAC stated that those Bengali came from refugee camp from Bangladesh and heading to Indonesia.
On the way the boat hull was broken and almost sunk. Therefore, Myanmar saved them including 83 males, 40 females and 31 children, altogether 154 Bengali; and provided them medical care by the SAC.
As per the primary examinations, the boat people can speak only Bengali language and from a #refugee_camps located in #Cox’s Bazar District in Bangladesh. Too much population, insecurity and insufficient food in the camps drove them to move to Indonesia.
The SAC stated that at the present, the Bengalis were examined by the departmental team including Immigration Ministry of Myeik Township. They will be sent to Sittwe Township from where deporting processes will be continued as per the legal procedures.
