A #Buddhist monk who got a B.A degree from Sitagu International Buddhist Academy and an M.A degree from Sri Lanka was brutally shot by the barbaric #PDFs to dead on January 6 morning in Shwegu Monastery in Sagaing’s Depeyinkwal Village.

The victim monk was identified Sayadaw Bhandanta Gandhasara, aged 42 years old with 22 years of monkhood. The barbaric PDFs trespassed the monastery and killed the monk, source close to the security forces recounted NP News.

Rumours were spread through the social media that the victim (monk) has been killed by the PDFs because the monk was one of the followers of #Sitagu Sayadaw #Ashin_Nyanissara.

In recent days, the Chief Editor of an anti-government news outlet ‘Myanmar Now’, Swe Win, wrote an article which targets Sayadaw Ashin Nyanissara of personal assassination; titled “Sitagu’s falling is the victory of Spring Revolution” in its Burmese edition. Swe Win is reportedly backed by a Muslim society. Some says the CIA is funding him.

The article accused Sitagu Sayadaw of a materialist under covering the Buddhism; it aims to dishonor the Sayadaw.

As a matter of fact, Myanmar and her cultures, traditions and norms are organized and developed by the principles of the Buddhism and the Buddha’s teaching.

On the other hand, Buddhism and the Buddhist monks lately become targeted to character assassination by the globalists. Assassinating the Buddhism means uprooting the core and shared values of the nation Myanmar.

The correspondent of the Times Magazine Hannah Beech assaulted Buddhism and the Buddhist monks in her article with horrific title ‘The face of Buddhist terror’ in 2013 July, in which a Buddhist nationalist monk Wirathu was discredited. It was far more a mean to assaulting the Buddhists, Buddhist monks, or the Buddhism rather than a just a Sayadaw Wirathu.

After 2021 political transition, there has been almost 70 Buddhist monks across the country who were killed brutally by the barbaric PDFs during their so-called Spring Revolution.
