PDFs that scheme to explode Inle Phaung Daw U Pagoda captured before plots are executed

Fourteen barbaric #PDFs who plotted to blast the #Phaung_Daw_U Pagoda in the #Inle_Lake were seized by the Tatmadaw counter-terrorism forces before their plot was executed, according to the press release announced by the State Administration Council (SAC).
In the operation, six were seized dead and eight alive with mass numbers of destructive weapons.
The news was disclosed by the SAC on January 7.
The barbaric schemed to raid police outposts, checking points and departmental offices in Nyaungshwe Township. Worst of all, they planned to sabotage the renowned Phaung Daw U Pagoda located in Inle Lake on January 1, as per the statement.
The Inle Phaung Daw U Pagoda is usually crowded with pilgrims and is one of the significant tourist destinations in Myanmar.
Authorities reportedly got leads of the plots on December 27 by the public started operations to seize the terrorist team.
In the incident, seven male defendants; one female, a total of 8, were arrested and six were arrested dead.
Along with them, 12 different weapons, 10 (40)-mm grenades, 23 grenades; 9 land mines 2,414 bullets of various types; 25 various ammunition casings and 1 drone were identified and seized.
