Second day meeting held between RCSS and State Peace Talk Team

The Second Day Meeting between the #State_Peace_Talks_Team and the peace delegations from the Restoration Council of Shan State (#RCSS) was held in Naypyidaw on January 25.
The State Peace Talks Team led by Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and the representatives from Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) led by Chair General Yawd Serk attended the meeting.
The two sides discussed and negotiated on the pending issues from the first day meeting and topics on democracy and federalism. After that, 33 basic policies proposed by RCSS and common agreement on peace and development were discussed at the meeting and they drafted points to be discussed. Then, second day meeting was adjourned.
The third day meeting will continue on 26th January. The two sides are expected to sign on the points that both parties could achieve the agreement on, according to the statement released by the State Administration Council.
