Myanmar Travel Fair 2023 was held on January 27 morning at the Secretariat Office in Yangon and Yangon Region Chief Minister Soe Thein attended.
This is the very first tour and travel ceremony after the suspension of Covid-19 since 2020.
During the ceremony, “We are processing to improve the travel and tourism sector. We also need to maintain our beautiful environment so that we can attract tourists. We also warmly welcome international and domestic investments. We expect more tourists to come to Myanmar as we reopen this tourism sector after the suspension of Covid-19,” the Minister said.
Many entrepreneurs from both international and domestic travel and tourism also attended.
After the opening ceremony, all attendees browse around the exhibition hall held by the airline companies, hotels, travel and tour companies including related businesses. Some companies provided discount offers on travel packages and tickets in the exhibition hall for the upcoming traveling season.
“Entering tourists from many countries to Myanmar is increasing. We are also focusing on the security and convenience of travelers. This is the most important part,” Vice Chairman of the Myanmar Tourism Federation Naung Naung Han said.
The traveling sector of Myanmar is expected to increase with more incoming tourists if we offer more constructive approaches, and set reasonable rules and regulations for the tourism sector.
