Yangon-Mawlamyine train schedules resumed

According to Mon State Government, the #Yangon_Mawlamyine train schedules were recommenced on January 28.
On January 27, the officials announced that the train schedules were temporarily suspended.
However, the trip schedules were running as usual, as per information on January 28.
“The Mawlamyine train have been running today. It was suspended only yesterday as there were some difficulties on the railway. It starts today,” the spokesperson from Mon State Government confirmed NP News.
The train schedules were suspended since ten mines yet not exploded were found near Mile Stone No. 88/22-24 between Moke Pa lin and Kyaikkatha stations in Mon State on January 26.
There were a total of sixteen times of bombing attacks on Yangon-Bago-Mawlamyine rail road since 2021.
