KNU Chair highlights to develop federal democratic union for ensuring peaceful coexistence

Chairman of Karan National Union (#KNU) General #Saw_Mutu_Say_Poe said that all must make efforts to build the federal democratic union so that all can live peacefully within the state.

KNU Chairman underlined it during his speech on 74th Karan Revolution Day which falls on January 31.

In his speech, he suggested that the State Constitution must be in accordance with the federal democratic norms; which should guarantee liberty, justice, equality, and autonomy for all ethnics and the people of Myanmar.

“We all are different in religions, traditions, cultures and background histories. But we all must build the federal democratic union altogether to live peacefully in our motherland together,” he said.

The KNU Chairman also urged the whole public to make a steadfast effort in building the federal union.

The peace talks were made between government delegates and ethnic armed forces delegates in the State Administration Council (SAC) period.

The Chairman of the SAC Senior General Min Aung Hlaing informed that has been reached the agreement, on building a multi-party democracy system and building a federal democratic union, between EAOs and the government.
