65 townships required tight security measures: Commander-in-Chief

Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing highlighted, during the NDSC meeting on January 31 in Naypyidaw, that a total of 65 townships across the country required tight and effective security tactics.

Myanmar has 330 townships in total on a nationwide scale, in which, 198 townships can be said that a full percent secured while 67 others required to impose security measures at a reasonable rate; and 65 remaining townships are required to impose effective and forceful security operations.

The #National_Defence_and_Security_Council meeting was held in Naypyidaw on January 31 morning.

During the meeting, Acting President, Commander-in-Chief, and other attendees discussed and underlined peace and stability are surely required to convene the FREE AND FAIR ELECTION so that the voters will be able to involve in casting freely and without being threatened by any entity in the election.

There have been 5443 civilians involving civil staff, administrators, monks, children, and other average civilians who were killed by extrajudicial killings starting from 2021 to 25th January 2023.
