Yangon’s KMIC to involve 10,000 cubic meters per day water purification factory

According to the information released by the Ministry of Construction, the #Korea_Myanmar_Industrial_Complex (KMIC) project will involve a water purification factory that will generate ten thousand cubic meters per day.

The KMIC will be developed in the No. 3 Agriculture and Livestock Zone (total land area of 555.81 acres) located in Nyaung Hnitpin (Hlegu Township) in the Yangon Region.

At present, the ministry is preparing to develop necessary infrastructures for the KMIC in which water distribution, upgrading road and transportation, and electrification projects are involved.

Loans required for the project will be requested at the Export-Import Bank of Korea under Economic Development Co-operation Fund (EDCF), according to the information released by the ministry.

At present, the ministry appointed relevant bodies for implementing the project.
