Breaking News: Nyaunglebin railway station in Bago bombed; casualty high

As per information, the #Nyaunglebin_Railway_Station in Bago Region was blasted, in which three died on the spot and nine others were wounded; four of the injured persons are in a critical situation as of the 3:30 pm report.
The #blast occurred today (February 13) at an estimated 12:30 pm, according to a Nyaunglebin resident.
The station is located in Myoma 3 Ward in Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region. The bomb went off between the railroad and the station platform.
“We heard a heavy burst from the station. A moment later, we heard that the station was bombed. Most injured persons are civilians since there were many villagers who came from villages to sell things in the town at the station during the attack. They came by train. Approximately 9 persons were wounded in the incident. Three others died on the spot: one man and two women,” the source confirmed NP News.
He continued, “Most of the victims are from Nahtogyi. Villagers from the villages located between Mandalay and Nyaunglebin came here to sell things. They came here in the morning to sell things and go back in the late evening by train.”
Among wounded persons, ages range from teenage to in their thirties.
On February 9, #KNU and #PDF joint forces sabotaged a reinforced concrete type bridge located on the Yangon-Mandalay old expressway near Htawnut Village in Nyaunglebin Township, according to reports.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
