Myanmar expects to export three hundred thousand tons of rice and broken rice within two months

The Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) anticipates exporting three hundred thousand tons of #rice and #broken_rice in February and March, according to the MRF.
The MRF discussed it at the meeting that was held on February 11.
As per information, the MRF expected to export 2 million tons of rice and broken rice in 2022-23 FY; and 1.9 million tons were exported as of January 31. The MRF targets to export three hundred thousand tons of more rice and broken rice in February and March.
A total of 1.9 metric tons of rice and broken rice worth 707 million USD were exported in 2022-23 FY.
During the meeting, the MRF members discussed rice price stability in the local market. According to the federation, the country has enough stock of rice in the local market; and misinformation in the market causes panic buying.
