More Chinese travelers expected to visit Myanmar

According to the #Myanmar_Tourism Federation (MTF), more #Chinese_tourists are expected to enter Myanmar when the flight schedules from China are back to run normally.
Chinese visitors are expected to increasingly enter in March, the MTF Chairman said.
Naung Naung Han said, "Now, China has reopened the flight schedules recently. It was reopened in last month. Therefore, we anticipate that the Chinese visitors will be coming in near future. Currently, we don’t have much flight schedules between China and Myanmar."
Myanmar reopened its inbound tourism industry since May, 2022 after Covid pandemic.
At present, foreigners come Myanmar for their business trips; only few are visiting on vacation purpose.
The Myanmar-China border gates and Myawaddy-Mae Sot border gates were reopened in recent months.
