Money and advantages generated from online gambling to be seized as State-funds

The State Administration Council (SAC) announced that financial and other benefits gained out of #online_games will be confiscated as the State-funds as per Anti-Money Laundering Law.
These days, online cheating and fraud markets have been lately escalated under the cover of #gambling to deceive the people.
The SAC notified that these fraudulent people borrow National Registration Cards (NRCs) from others to abuse the cards in online gambling, cheating and other fraudulent financial transitions. Usually the deceitful cheaters pay ten thousands Kyats per card. Those who lend the NRCs consciously or unconsciously will have possibility to be taken action as per law.
The persons who joined in online gambling and their lucky draws programs and illegal microfinance work will also be taken actions according to the laws as the SAC has announced.
Financial and other benefits and advantages that were generated by these illegal gambling industries will be seized as the State-funds as per the Anti-money Laundering Act.
Lately, illegal online gambling businesses are sprawling and spreading through social media platform in Myanmar. The spread of gambling industry affects people’s life and causes financial losses.
Altogether 71 criminals have been submitted by the Myanmar Police Force and these criminals were using the online platforms and applications such as TTbet Online Game, Golden Gift Online Lucky Draw, Money Bag Application, Cash Now Application, Cola Kyat Application and U Loan Application.
Public demands to take effective action against these online gambling industries have been increasing since recently.
