Myanmar’s Paing Takhon Extends His Works To Thailand, China And Cambodia

Myanmar model and actor Paing Takhon, who was ranked Number One in “The 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2021” by TC Candler, is signing contracts in the international movie industries, especially with companies from Cambodia, China and Thailand.
Paing Takhon has gained immense popularity in neighboring Thailand and he also appeared in several TV shows and commercials.
He arrived to Thailand for the first time in three years and he is now also planning to make films in Cambodia. For upcoming September, he is going to make contract with Chinese movie production.
As consequences of Myanmar political clash, Paing Takhon was sentenced to three-year imprisonment with hard labour under the Section 505 – A of defamation of State in December 2021 in Insein Prison. On March 2, Myanmar’s Farmers Day, Paing Takhon was released on State pardon together with other celebrities including recently Academy Award winning couple, Pyay Ti Oo and Eaindra Kyaw Zin.
