Myanmar Navy’s vessels send foodstuffs, construction materials to 8 townships in Rakhine

Three Kaladan vessels from Myanmar Navy will be carrying construction materials and foodstuffs to deliver to eight townships in Rakhine State, the State Administration Council (SAC) announced.

Kaladan Vessels No. 4, 5 and 6 unanchored from Phaung Daw Gyi jetty of Myanmar Port Authority in Sittwe on May 23.

The Kaladan Vessel No. 4 loaded with a total of 198.7 tons of construction materials and foodstuffs that will be delivered to Kyauktaw and Ponnagyun.

The Kaladan Vessel No. 5 carried a total of 198.6 tons of construction materials and foodstuffs that will be sent to Rathedaung and Maungdaw.

The Kalandan Vessel No.6 carried a total of 148.93 tons of construction materials and foodstuffs to Pauktaw, Mrauk-U, Minbya and Myebon.

The supplies will be directly handed over to the storm victims, the SAC announced.
