Heavy wind demolishes 21 houses in Mon State’s Thanbyuzayat

According to the statement released by the State Administration Council (SAC), a strong wind destroyed 21 houses and a monastery in Thanbyuzayat township, Mon State, on May 24.
The incident broke out in the morning of May 24 around Rathedaung village and Satse village located in Thanbyuzayat.
Therefore, the rescue forces from the Southeast Regional Military Command, Myanmar Police Force, Fire Service Department and charity organizations are carrying out the necessary rescue works.
