A female schoolteacher injured in bomb blast in Pakkoku

The Myanmar Police Force released a news that a female schoolteacher was wounded in Pakkoku Town in Magway Region in the blast of a handmade bomb planted by the PDF terrorists on her way to school.

The incident took place on 1st September at around 11:15 am near Yelarlay village located in Pakkoku.

The victim was identified Daw Khin Mar Aye, a lower secondary school teacher, who is serving at the post-primary school in Yelarlay village.

The 54-years-old teacher was wounded in the back, wrist and leg due to the bomb particles and sent to the Pakkoku District public hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities are investigating the incident to arrest the committed terrorists.
