Myanmar Foreign Minister Than Swe got the invitation from Belarus's Foreign Minister during his trip to Russia; therefore, he continued to Belarus on September 14.
Then, the bilateral talk by Myanmar-Belarus was held at the office of Belarus’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the morning of September 15, according to the State Administration Council’s Information Team.
Issues relating to promoting friendship and relationships among the people from Myanmar and Belarus were discussed.
In addition, the matters relating to cooperation in the economy, trade, defense, agriculture, education, science, and technology sectors were taken into account in the discussion.
During his visit to Belarus, Foreign Minister Than Swe attended and opened the Myanmar Consulate General Office in Minsk.
