Repairing of Union Road’s Nawngkio-Kyaukme part that was sabotaged by terrorists finished

The State Administration Council (SAC) notified that Nawngkio-Kyaukme part of the Union Road that was recently destroyed by TNLA and PDF terrorists is now finished the repairing works.

Major General Zaw Min Tun added it in his briefing on 18 November to the news media with regard to the situations of armed clashes across the country.

According to the spokesperson Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun, 12 parts on the Mandalay-Muse Union Road located between Nawngkio and Kyaukme were destroyed by the joint forces of TNLA and PDF terrorists.

The Mandalay-Muse Union Road is one of the important transportation channels for the country and the public since commodities mainly flow through it.

Although the road is finished in repairing, public and the commodities have not yet allowed crossing it, according to a resident.

In addition, the Kyinthi Bridge located between Kyaukme and Thibaw townships on the Union Road that was exploded by the terrorists haven’t yet repaired.
