Arakan Army raids security posts at Kaladan Multi-Modal Project site

Spokesperson of the State Administration Council (SAC) Major General Zaw Min Tun said that the Arakan Army (AA) attacked the security posts at the Kaladan Multi-Modal Project site which is being implemented by the collaboration of Myanmar and India.

Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun highlighted it in his explanatory speech to the news media with regard to the armed conflicts happening across the country.

The AA raided the border security posts of Koetankauk camp, Tronai camp and Nonebu camp on November 19.

“The AA attacked the Tronai security post and Koetankauk post. Those camps are border security posts guarding the Kaladan Multi-Modal Project which is being implemented by the Myanmar and India,” said Major General Zaw Min Tun continuing that those armed clashes are the main barrier for development in Rakhine State.

The ULA/AA has restarted the battles in November 13 attacking the security posts within Rakhine State.
