Khit/ Munich (NP News) – Dec 24
The Kayah terrorists known as ‘KNDF’ and its leaders announced another battles are soon to be initiated in Kayah State after they launched the Operation 11-11 in Loikaw, Kayah State.
The KNDF terrorist leader called Mar Wi said in his message via online, “There are two ways; will you (Tatmadaw) surrender or be defeated. Choose as you like. There will be next wave of battles. If you are willing to be defeated, be ready then.”
Since last November 11, the Kayah armed terrorists and PDF allied terrorist groups raided the security outposts located in Loikaw Town and surrounding areas with disproportionately massive troops under the Operation 11-11. Although it has been more than 50 days of fire exchanging, the intense of the battles has not yet calmed.
"The battle situation has been stable after occurring clashes near the Loikaw Prison. But there are attacks in some places since they (the terrorists) shoot the security outposts with snipers although there aren’t clashes with massive troop forces. However, they (the terrorists) might launch an unexpected raid in Christmas and New Year holidays,” a Loikaw resident told NP News.
Due to the Operation 11-11, Loikaw residents fled and left their houses. On the other hand, markets and departmental infrastructures were also destroyed in the city.
"The other side (Tatmadaw) will shoot back since the terrorists are hiding in the residential wards and attacking. The heavy weapons dropped in nearly every ward. So, the houses were destroyed. I think 75 percent of the city has been destroyed. Some buildings were collapsed. Some were burned down. Properties were all damaged in the arson," a Loikaw resident told NP News in recent days.
Many infrastructures in Loikaw City such as Loikaw University, district court, market, departmental buildings and people’s houses were destroyed under the Operation 11-11 initiated by the KNDF terrorists.
