Reshuffle of Union Ministers of the SAC Chairman Office; National Security Advisor replaced

The State Administration Council's restructuring of leadership roles, announced on January 8th, includes Admiral Moe Aung's appointment as Myanmar's National Security Advisor, succeeding Lt-Gen Yar Pyae. Simultaneously, other ministerial positions at the Office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council were also announced.

To advise both the Chairman and the State Administration Council on various national security matters, the State Administration Council announced that Admiral Moe Aung, currently Union Minister for Ministry 4, will assume the role of National Security Advisor, succeeding Lt-Gen Yar Pyae.
The State Administration Council also assigned U Ko Ko Hlaing as the Union Minister of Ministry 1 at Office of Chairman of the State Administration Council, U Aung Naing Oo as the Union Minister of Ministry 2 at Office of Chairman of the State Administration Council.

Formerly, U Ko Ko Hlaing served in the positions of the Union Minister for International Cooperation and Union Minister for Union Government Office 2.

U Aung Naing Oo served in the positions of the Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, the Union Minister for the Ministry of Commerce and Union Minister at the Union Government Office (1) during the SAC Administration.

Moreover, Admiral Moe Aung, who was formerly the Commander-in-Chief (Navy), was also assigned to serve as the Union Minister for Ministry 4 at the Office of Chairman of the State Administration Council.
