The 2024 population and housing census conducted since October 1 and lasting 15 days. The reference date for this census was midnight of the September 30, 2024, and it aimed to gather information about individuals who were residing in the household on that date.
The last census was taken in 2014, and now, after 10 years, it is being conducted again in 2024. The 2014 household questionnaire consists of a total of 41 questions.
The 2024 nationwide census includes 68 questions for the household questionnaire and it is estimated that it can last for about 20 minutes.
The questionnaires to be covered in the census include demographic information, internal migration, education, labor force, birth rates, disability, international migration, housing conditions, mortality, and maternal mortality.
The preliminary population data collected is expected to be released by the end of December 2024.
