Government reports state that since 2021, more than 5,300 individuals have lost their lives due to terrorists branding them as informants, locally known as ‘Dalan’.

From February 2021 to September 2024, it has been reported that civilians and political party members were killed across various regions, including the Naypyidaw Council Territory, in the killings perpetrated by terrorists.

Reports indicate that due to killings labeled as "Dalan" by terrorists, the following casualties occurred: 18 in Naypyidaw Council Territory, 119 in Kachin State, 23 in Kayah State, 76 in Kayin State, 24 in Chin State, 184 in Mon State, 20 in Rakhine State, and 83 in Ayeyawady Region. In Sagaing Region, which has the highest concentration of PDF terrorists, the number of individuals killed after being labeled as "Dalan" has reached a total of 1,884.

Furthermore, in Mandalay Region, 1,122 individuals have been killed; in Magway Region - 618; Taninthayi Region - 361; and Yangon Region - 282 have also been victims of extremist killings. This indicates that the highest number of casualties has occurred in regions rather than in the states.

Additionally, it has been reported that among those labeled as "Dalan" and subsequently killed, there are numerous members from Union Solidarity and Development Party and many individuals from other political parties.

U Hla Thein, vice-chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party stated, "The government is currently keeping the NCA pathway open for dialogue. They invite discussions and ask if they want autonomy—make their requests in parliament, and if granted, take it. There’s nothing better than this. Furthermore, the government has already committed to holding free and fair election under a democratic system in line with its roadmap. In section (5), provisions will be made to ensure that all eligible voters can participate without hindrance. I see this as the best opportunity. If they all re-enter and compete fairly, then they can advocate for the system they desire. However, if they choose to continue as they have been, then regardless of how long it takes, I see them as those who are destroying the country rather than saving it."

Currently, while the government is inviting the members of PDF who have not committed crimes to enter the legal framework, it has been reported that if these armed groups continue their violent actions against the public, the number of casualties is likely to rise further.

In the ongoing conflict in Myanmar, violence has resulted in the deaths of monks, children, the elderly, teachers, civil service personnel, and administrators.

Similarly, the government has reported that there have been more than 80 incidents of mass killings involving three or more individuals nationwide, resulting in over 8,000 deaths so far.
