It has been reported that a maritime security exercise will be conducted in the northern waters of the Andaman Sea from October 20 to 24.
A maritime security exercise will be conducted in the northern part of the Andaman Sea from October 20 to 24, 2024. The exercise will involve surface, air, and underwater training, as well as live-fire drills. A specific area has been designated and marked with coordinates, and maritime and aviation warnings have been issued accordingly.
It has been reported that to ensure safety during the exercises, all large and small ships, cargo vessels, fishing boats, and powered rafts are prohibited from entering, anchoring, fishing, or placing fishing gear within a 5-mile radius of the designated area. Additionally, aircraft and vessels are not allowed to fly or operate below an altitude of 15,000 feet over the area. –
